Hello, I am Benjamin Bertram, Illustrator and Creative Technologist based in Hamburg, Germany.
I develop visual identities for companies and institutions, conceive and design visual worlds, logos, websites, explanatory videos, infographics, and unique visual concepts for social media, screen and print.
Interesting patterns, shapes, objects and nature inspire me, as well as social and interhuman behavior and communication. While my roots lie in traditional drawing, the digital realm claims most of my creations. Therefore bits, bytes and pixels are as interesting to me as pigments, paper and pencils. My fascination also extends to the synthetic beauty of artificial patterns and technology, nurturing a growing interest in AI-assisted design since 2018.
As an illustrator and designer I work for local and international clients from business, culture, education and research.
