Wir mit KI is a public education and outreach project focused on strengthening AI literacy and critical engagement with artificial intelligence across society. Developed in collaboration with educational and cultural institutions, the initiative translates complex technological, ethical, and social questions around AI into accessible formats for broad audiences, including non-technical participants.
As illustrator of the project’s large-scale Wimmelbilder, I created detailed visual environments that translate abstract AI systems and societal implications into narrative scenes. These images function as exploratory learning tools rather than decorative assets: they map relationships between humans, algorithms, institutions, and everyday life, enabling viewers to identify patterns, tensions, and opportunities within AI-driven environments.
The illustrations were used across workshops, publications, and public communication to support reflection, discussion, and media literacy. By embedding layered storytelling and visual cues into dense, information-rich compositions, the Wimmelbilder provided an entry point for audiences to engage with complex AI topics intuitively while encouraging critical observation and dialogue.
